CALL OUT FOR THEATRE COMPANIES TO JOIN FORMATION FESTIVAL
Annexe Arts Hub are looking for visiting companies for their
upcoming festival, Formation 5th - 12th of July at Assembly
Roxy.
Have a show in the Fringe you would like to preview? Got a gap
in your tour? Scoping out Edinburgh for future festivals? Got a
play you love performing but no venue to do it in? Get in touch!
Annexe Arts are interested in hearing from Edinburgh based emerging
companies in particular.
What they offer:
50% of box office takings (you set the ticket price, Annexe are
charging around £8/5 for their shows)
Inclusion in their press release and promotion for the
festival
Their social media support
Being part of a growing festival
Annexe's sign of approval which they know their audiences
respect
An online and in person box office, front of house, being able to
meet people and mingle in the bar before and after your performance
and a great festival atmosphere in the heart of the
city
Technical support may be provided, subject to availability and
prior agreement only.
They ask that:
You have a great show that is easy to get in and out at a quick
turnaround
Your show has around one hour running time
You will be responsible for your own print material
You will be responsible for your own tech support unless otherwise
agreed with Annexe
You run your own promotion and social media campaign, but tag
Annexe and their hashtags in it please and thank you
You take over their social media for a day running up to the
performances
You are available for the festival and its two technical rehearsal
days (5th and 6th)
