Chris Hannan's work has been staged by the RSC, the Old Vic, the Bush, Shakespeare's Globe, the Traverse and the National Theatre of Scotland.
His original plays include The Evil Doers, for which he won a Time Out Award; Shining Souls, for which he was nominated Lloyd's Bank Playwright of the Year in 1997; the contemporary classic Elizabeth Gordon Quinn; The God of Soho, which premiered at Shakespeare's Globe in 2011; and his highly praised The Three Musketeers and the Princess of Spain, which won the 2011 CATS Award for Best Play.
His play What Shadows premiered at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 2016 before touring to the Royal Lyceum Theatre and The Park Theatre London in 2017
