L.J. McIntyre has had work performed, published and exhibited in arts venues, museums, festivals, anthologies, magazines and public spaces.

She is an arts practitioner who specialises in arts festivals, having worked across Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, Glasgay! Festival and Merchant City Festival. She is a Trustee on the Arts & Business Scotland Board. Recently she has also started working over Communications with the NHS Borders.

L.J. is also drawn to collaborations and creating new pieces with illustrators, scientists, artists and fellow writers. Creative collaborators have included Glasgow School of Art, The Museum of Childhood, The Festival of Erotic, The Metro, Writers' Collective  26, The Hunterian Museum and Bristol University, amongst others.

Born and bred in the industrial city of Glasgow, rural life called her to live by the sea on a mad wee island, which she has since fled. Now settled in the market town of Kelso, in the Scottish Borders, she lives with her husband, dog and menagerie of small creatures.
