Scotland's Theatre Gateway

 

The Play Resource Centre opened daily from 11.30am – 9.30pm throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2005.

Located in the courtyard at Scotland’s Theatre Gateway, the Resource Centre was the perfect place to have a coffee, take a seat and find out about the wealth of internationally acclaimed work written and produced in Scotland, and what you can see during your visit to The Fringe.

Staff were be on hand to advise people about the companies and playwrights based in Scotland and how to find out more about their work.

At the Play Resource Centre you could find:

Discounted copies of published plays;

Exclusive copies of plays produced from 2003-2005 which are currently unpublished;

Publications about Theatre in Scotland;

Information about productions available to tour from Plays Aloud;

Catalogue of Scotland’s Living Professional Playwrights;

Information about the Federation of Scottish Theatre, British Council, Scottish Arts Council, Scottish Society of Playwrights, Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland, National Theatre of Scotland, Orange Writing Activity.
