 - Darren seeks salvation in the black gold struck outside a small Alberta town.

 - A tricksy raven intends to keep Emily in the Arctic forever.

 - Jude vows to wrestle the evil out of Cosima, whatever the cost.

 - Shayma is hired as Gert's home help. Gert will fight her every inch of the way.

 - Constantinople, 1917. A young nurse falls in love with a wounded soldier.

 - Mharaid begins a quest to scatter her husband's ashes and finds a new beginning.

Extracts from the plays are performed as script-in-hand readings by professional actors. All writers are graduating from the MSc in Playwriting at the University of Edinburgh.
