Emma McKee:
General Manager
Emma joined Playwrights' Studio in November 2009 as the
company's Administrator. Prior to joining the organisation, Emma
worked as Office Manager at Borderline Theatre Company for 3 years
and for 2 years as their Administration, Research and Marketing
Assistant. She has a degree in Archaeology from University of
Glasgow.
General areas of responsibility include:
- Project Management of Writers Projects, Professional and Public Workshop Programmes, Partnerships and Residencies.
- Finance and Office Management
- Overseeing and reviewing the operational systems of the organisation
- Fundraising
- Advocacy and representing the company at events
Hayley Sinclair:
Communications & Projects Coordinator
Hayley joined Playwrights' Studio in January 2017. Hayley graduated from Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) in 2009 with an MA in Classical and Contemporary Text and has worked in Communications, Marketing and Administration in both the private and public sector.
General areas of responsibility include:
- Leading on the organisational communications strategy
- Website development
- Project management for activities including New Playwrights Awards, the Gaelic Playwriting Award, and the National Workshop Programme
- Management of IT and communications systems
- Reporting and undertaking evaluation for the organisation's Resources and Services
- Advocacy and representing the company at events
Amy McKenzie:
Administrator
General areas of responsibility include:
- Project management for activities including the National Script Reading service, A Play, A Pie and A Pint Script Review Service, Mentoring Programme, Script Surgeries, Bookshop and Library, the Space, Tom McGrath Writers' Room, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland MA in Classical and Contemporary Text, and Associated Events e.g. Stage to Page
- Office administration
- Communications/general enquiries
- Day-to-day maintenance of website and social media
- Advocacy and representing the company at events
