Amy Rhianne Milton

Amy Rhianne Milton is a Playwright from Durham living in Edinburgh. She has an MSc in Playwriting from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Writing, Directing and Performance from the University of York.

Amy Rhianne was an Artist in Residence with Articulate Cultural Projects, creating plays with Care Experienced young people in Scotland from 2019 to 2020. 

Plays include Matterhorn, commissioned by the Traverse Theatre as part of the 2020 Breakfast Plays, and Bleak Law, long listed for the Women's Playwriting Prize, the Papatango Award and the Verity Bargate Award 2020.

Amy Rhianne was a member of the Traverse Young Writer's programme and is a member of the Scottish Society of Playwrights. She is also part of the Box of Tricks and Sky Studios Screen/Play Shortlist Programme.

She recently worked with Playwrights Studio and the Envelope Room in a workshop bringing together playwrights and performance designers.
