In October 2019 her short play First Steps toured to sell-out audiences in the Scottish Borders as part of the Unveiled Secrets Project with Odd Productions Theatre Company and fellow playwright Oliver Eade. Her ten-minute plays Stop Procrastinating (Director: Caitlin Skinner) and Two Degrees and Rising (Director: Kate Nelson) were performed as part of Borders Pub Theatre's inaugural sell-out event In The Beginning (March 2019) and follow up event Take Two (October 2019). Borders Pub Theatre was created by the mentees of the Scottish Borders Playwriting Programme with support from playwright Jules Horne and Playwright's Studio Scotland. It aims to bring regular script-in-hand performances to pubs throughout the Scottish Borders. Anita is Treasurer of the group.
Script-in-hand readings of Stop Procrastinating (Borders Pub Theatre) and First Steps (Duns Players) were also performed at the inaugural Duns PlayFest May 2019.
In January 2018 an extract from Amy's Dilemma (Director: Alasdair Hunter) was performed, script in hand, at TalkFest in the Borders as part of the Scottish Borders Playwriting Programme with Playwrights' Studio Scotland.
In 2016 a clip from her script for the National Theatre of Scotland's Yes, No, Don't Know Five Minute Theatre Show was included in the TV documentary The National Theatre of Scotland: A Dramatic Decade, screened on BBC Two.
