Eve Nicol
Eve is a Glaswegian playwright sharing smart, specific, contemporary stories with audiences through popular forms, led by a "girls to the front" working ethos.
Eve's plays include the stage adaptation of Belle & Sebastian's iconic album If You're Feeling Sinister for BBC Arts and Avalon, and One Life Stand for Middle Child which toured nightclubs, music festivals and theatres across the UK.
Eve has developed new stories with the National Theatre of Scotland, Lyceum, Traverse, Comedy Unit, Slung Low and Unicorn Theatre, and Michael Grandage Company Futures. Eve is a Council Member of the Scottish Society of Playwrights, a graduate of the University of Glasgow's MLitt Playwriting and Dramaturgy, and published by Oberon Books.
As a director, Eve's credits include I Can Go Anywhere by Douglas Maxwell (Traverse Theatre Company), The Drift by Hannah Lavery (National Theatre of Scotland) and The Mistress Contract by Abi Morgan (Tron Theatre Company).
