John Harvey

John has had over eighty pieces of work produced in Scotland between 1980 and 2010.  He has collaborated with Scottish Youth Theatre, TAG, Communicado, Dundee Rep, Benchtours, Awarehaus and Plan B amongst many others.  

His Community Theatre productions include shows for Berwick, Edinburgh, Dundee, Nairn, Forres, Leith, Inverness and East Lothian.  

He was writer in residence for the community at Dundee Rep 1986-88 and from 1990-97 was chief drama worker for Tayside Region; he created five plays for Dundee's award winning touring company THEATRE TOURING TAYSIDE.

He as also written three plays for Lung Ha Theatre Company and four productions for groups in Aberdeen as well as seven short devised plays for Fife's Out of The Dark initiative.
