L.J. McIntyre has had work performed, published and exhibited in arts venues, museums, festivals, anthologies, magazines and public spaces.
She works in communications and marketing in the public sector having developed these skills across a number of arts organisations, in particular arts festivals, such as Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, Glasgay! Festival and Merchant City Festival. She is a Trustee on the Arts & Business Scotland Board as well as a Non-Executive Director and the Board Secretary for Eastgate Theatre and Arts Centre in Peebles.
She is also an Associate Fiction Editor for The Flexible Persona Literally magazine.
Past collaborations with illustrators, scientists, artists and fellow writers have been facilitated through Glasgow School of Art, The Museum of Childhood, The Festival of Erotic, The Metro, Writers' Collective 26, The Hunterian Museum and Bristol University, amongst others.
Born and bred in Glasgow, she has now settled in the market town of Kelso, in the Scottish Borders with her husband, dog and menagerie of small creatures.
