New Playwrights Award Recipient 2019
Meghan is a recipient of a New Playwrights Award for 2019. She will be developing a dream play for the burning present as part of the programme:
Agnes, the daughter of a god, plummets helplessly from the stars to land on planet Earth. As she adapts to the smog of human life, she leads a quest to discover one thing: joy.
Will the humans let her make it out alive?
Through the eyes of an innocent, this radical adaption of Strindberg's 'A Dream Play' fully examines what it is to suffer as a human being in the burning present.
Meghan is receiving dramaturgical support for her play from Zinnie Harris.
