Discover. Uncover. Reveal - A workshop for designers and playwrights

Continuing the connection and interest in cross artform creative practice, we will bring together performance designers and playwrights to enjoy a practical workshop guided by Alice McGrath (Creative Director, Red Bridge Arts). This will be a playful session and an opportunity to explore potential creative relationships and find ways to evolve artistic practice.

Each participant will receive an attendance fee of £150. The Envelope Room will also cover any accessibility costs e.g. childcare, BSL Interpretation.

Am I eligible?

There is space for five performance designers and five playwrights. This workshop would be particularly suited to designers who have created at least four professional productions and for playwrights who have worked professionally with a stage designer.

If applying by e-mail, you will need to provide:

  • Contact details (including name, address and mobile number)
  • A supporting statement of no more than 300 words explaining why you would like to participate in the workshop
  • A CV detailing your professional experience to date
  • An Equalities Monitoring Form
  • Confirmation that you are available on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 April

You will receive an email confirming the submission of your application.

Deadline: 12pm on Thursday 1 April 2021


Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their submission no later than Friday 9 April 2021.
