In the final of our 2018 international webinars with the Playwrights' Guild of Canada, Playwright Morna Young, currently working in New Zealand and Arthur Meek, a playwright from New Zealand working in New York, come together to talk about the climate of international collaboration in theatre.

MornaYoungPortrait Morna Young is a playwright, actress and musician from Scotland. She was recipient of the 2017 Dr Gavin Wallace Fellowship (hosted by Creative Learning, Aberdeen City Council) and the New Playwrights Award 2014 (Playwrights' Studio, Scotland). She is the 2018 playwright-in- residence for BATS Theatre and Toi Põneke Arts Centre in Wellington, New Zealand. Lost at Sea, her first full-length play, was developed in 2013 with award-winning Stellar Quines Theatre Company and is in pre-production for 2019.
Arthur By Wallace Arthur Meek is New York-based New Zealand playwright and performer who works at the intersection of art and commerce. In fact, he thinks business IS an art. There's always something to buy at Arthur's shows - Arthur never ceases to identify opportunities to separate you from your money. Arthur has been the Harriet Friedlander New York Resident and the CNZ Playmarket Playwrights Studio Scotland Resident. He is the cofounder of - a coworking space in New Zealand designed for consultants, entrepreneurs and fellow confidence artists. He likes to wear suits.
