An Introduction to Playwriting

In this online course you'll learn the key skills and principles involved in writing a play and generate ideas for your own work.

The course is taught by a leading professional playwright and presented in association with Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland; the only arts organisation in the UK exclusively dedicated to the artistic development of writers for live performance.

Case Study Sessions bring playwrights into conversation with leading theatre-makers to explore the craft of writing, collaboration, and industry navigation.
